Basics of Excel and Using Symbols

Part 1
Step 1- In cell A1 type in Your Last Name Animal Spaw. 
Step 2- Change the font size in cell A1 to size 18
Step 3- Stretch column A so that the entire row fits the text. 

Step 4- Insert a picture into your spreadsheet. 
Step 5- In cell B2 type Treatment. 
Step 6- In cell C2 type Price.
Step 7- In cell B2 type and bold Treatment, in cell C2 type and bold Cost, in cell B3 type Bath,  in cell B4 type Massage,  in cell B5 type Grooming, in cell B6 type Nails Cut,  in cell B7 type Lodging,  in cell C3 type $35,  in cell C4 type $45,  in cell C5 type $25,  in cell C6 type $10, in cell C7 type $100.
Look at the picture below to check your work.

Step 8- Change the color of cells B2-B7 and C1-C7.


Step 9- In cell B9 type Calculator,  in cell B10 type Bath, Massage, Nails Cut, in cell B11 type All but lodging, in cell B12 type Average Cost, in cell B13 type 1 Bath per Month, in cell C10 type =C3+C4+C6, in cell C11 type =C3+C4+C5+C6+C7-C7, in cell C12 type =115/5, in cell C13 type =12*35.

Step 1-  Next click on Sheet 2 towards the bottom of the page to begin the next part of this tutorial.


Step 2- In cell A1 type in the Label Hours, in cell A2 type in the Label Wage per hour, and in cell A4 type in the Label Total Pay.a


Step 3- In cell B4 type =SUM(B1*B2) and press Enter on the keyboard

Step 4- In cell B2 type in $5.35 and in B1 type in 40.

Step 5- Go to Sheet 3 and do steps 1-3 again but this time change B2 to $6.00 and in B1 type 30.
